What and Why:

During our youth, we enjoyed attending the local county fair, walking through art and craft exhibits, eating hotdogs at the band booth and looking at the farm animals in the barn. It was a wonderful family experience! This event brought many visitors to Newberry and offered our citizens an opportunity to get together and have an inexpensive, fun outing, while highlighting the many positive agricultural and craftmen in Newberry County.

We going to try to bring the fun back to the Fall! We plan to conduct an event that highlights the very best of the agricultural industry in Newberry County. We plan three days of animal shows, ending with a sanctioned multi-breed horse show. We want to have one day of crafts, an event long exhibit of antique tractors and farm equipment, as well as historical exhibits from our Newberry County Museum. We want to offer local groups, clubs and vendors the opportunity to set up booths and exhibit or sell their products. This event will be a combination of the best aspects of a County Fair!
